Logistics

Mercenary units depend on their employers for supplies and spare parts. Mercenary units go through many bureaucrats, profiteering, delays in shipping, gross over pricing, and mistaken orders. Mercenary units are last on the list next to regular house units. If a unit does not have supplies the unit will be immobilize or destroyed.

The Stranded Mercenary

Mercenary units that depend on there employer for Jumpships and Dropships you run the risk of being left behind if a house unit is in danger. Or the ship commander could panic and receive the wrong orders.

Diversions

Houses offten sacrifice mercenary unit in diversionary mission that often lead to the destruction of a mercenary unit. The employer often hides this in the contract till the last minute.

Invalid Contracts

House Lords often seek to avoiding payment to mercenary units. though Comstar hold the money for payment to the respected mercenary unit. the most common way to do this is by claiming that the mercenary unit failed to do their best against the enemy. this will be taken to Comstar to decide upon. Note: all three GMs will be the Judges.

False Intelligence

Misintelligence from you employer can have bad consequences with a merc unit. A wise merc unit would discard 90% of what their employer tell them.

The Company Store

This happens if a merc unit does not negotiate their contract right and in the end owe their employer money after a campaign. Once this happen a unit stays with that house till their debt is paid off.
